Picture this, corner table on the street, holiday lights twinkling, 40 degrees and clear as people pass each other on the streets of Chicago with tomorrow's Thansgiving lists engaging neuro-transmitters throughout their stressed out, wool-cacooned bodies, and yet, my reality is sipping a delicious glass of Super Tuscan vino at the Bice Bistro on Delaware being lulled into relaxation by Andrea Bocelli and the anticipation of lobster risotto on the way. Kind service, classy setting, and that risotto? Creamy yet perfectly chewey, a hint of lemon to introduce the logostino, and that fresh-grated parm! Ah...bene....Happy Thanksgiving.

I love this place! I attended a 60th birthday party during Sunday brunch and the food was fantastic-the desserts delectable, our server was fabulous, attentive, funny. Didn't catch her name but request the blonde~
Will keep coming back for more that's for sure!

What a great dining experience. There is competition between the reasonably priced, excellent food and the wonderfully attentive and knowledgeable server Abraham for what was my favorite. I will take friends back to enjoy all of it. Worth the quick bus ride to Uptown. Anyone looking for a unique and tasty meal should give this place a try (especially the Abyssinia special)

I get a kick out of watchings people get bent out of shape at first, who haven't heard about the Ed's experience!
It's hilarious!
Food is three stars. Not stellar, bit doesn't suck either! The experience is a must when visiting the Windy City!

We tried a variety of dishes from thalia and each one was fantastic. the taste of each dish was very close if not the same as much of the food I ate in Malaysia/Sing and thailand on various trips. This is a place you cannot pass up.

The Hungarian-style pancake is also worth noting. Serious good! Great value too, esp. being BYOB. Go hungry, leave in a wheelbarrow.

If you’re looking for amazing food and a warm, inviting atmosphere – Chickpea is the place to go. This place has a lot going for it. First of all, it’s a great value. You can actually get a high-end, gourmet and most important, delicious meal for under $10. In fact, everything I’ve tasted there has been outstanding. It’s clear that every dish is fresh, authentic and carefully prepared resulting in flavors that are simple and complex all at the same time. The presentation and service are spot on. And if you look hard enough, I’m sure you could amuse yourself with the subtle social, cultural and maybe even political irony hinted at in the décor – but if that’s not your thing, it’s easy enough to relax in the warmth and charm that is Chickpea. A place like this is long overdue in Chicago and I for one plan to make up for lost time by going back time and time again!

I can truly say I enjoyed the comedy show I attended in October 29, 2008. Hilarious, great comedy. The lady at the door told me I would enjoy this show and I surely did. All the comedians were great and especially Krazy Katie. What a laugh. Thanks to this producer, I surly had a memorable moment.

The food was authentic and very, very good; the wait staff was observant and attentive. The owner's were also attentive and interested in our feedback! Superior food, superior ambiance -- this is a place we'll be coming back to again and again! Prices, by the way, were less than we noted on Rosebud's menu which we would have gone to had they honored a previiously made and confirmed reservation. As it turned out, had they nort been so obtuse and indifferent, we would never have found Raffaele's.

We had a great meal and a delightful time. If you are a true foodie you MUST have the 9 course option. The three course does not scratch the surface of Michael's genius. Despite the hectic atmosphere they seem to keep it all together and the presentations are very nice and the blend of flavors fantastic. Two criticisms are: the parking is very difficult and the restaurant though lively is a bit noisy due to the music. Not entirely a negative as it seems to bring in the motion of the servers and the impact of the meal all together.
